On October 10, 2026, Dr. Manfred Seitz, long-standing head of the Lithothek, is inducted into the Micromounters’ Hall of Fame of the Baltimore Mineral Society – international recognition for a quarter of a century of tireless work. A personal honour that could not have gone to a better person in our group, and one that the recipient himself knows would not have been possible without the persistent contributions of countless micromounters. For a collection like this comes into being only when everyone who contributes also feels part of the whole – “Everyone may, no one must.”
